Materials
- paper
- drawing and painting supplies
- glue
- round stickers
Instructions
- First, invite the kids to draw a portrait of themselves that reflects some of the things they like or are important to them. Then, invite them to paint a background on a separate paper.
- Once the paint dries, help them cut out the drawing and glue it on the background paper.
- Then, invite the kids to name a few words that describe them. Add each word on one of the round stickers and add them on the paper, around the portrait.
Bonus idea: Use this activity as an opportunity to start a conversation with your kids about the way they see themselves and all the things that make them unique and special.
