Materials
- (watercolor) paper
- watercolor paint
- colored paper
- crayons (or oil pastels)
- scissors and glue

Instructions
- First, invite the kids to paint the background using one color. While the paint dries, use another piece of (watercolor) paper to cut out the tree shapes and paint them. Add details using crayons.
- For young kids, you can use colored paper for the background and trees instead of painting them.
- On a separate piece of paper, invite the kids to draw some simple bird shapes and paint them. Add details using the crayons. Once the paint dries, help the kids cut out the birds.
- Glue the trees on the background. Then, glue the birds and add more details using the crayons.
