Build a boat

Materials
- paper cups
- craft sticks
- aluminum foil
- tape
- (optional) modeling clay and straws
- small toy animals / craft gems
Instructions
- Prepare a tinker tray with materials the kids can use to build their boats and a container with water for testing the boats.
- Invite the kids to build boats that float. Offer them a few ideas to get them started, then let them use their creativity to create new designs.
- You can make the activity more challenging by inviting kids to build boats that can hold certain items (a small toy animal, 4 craft gems, etc).
