Coffee filter butterflies

Materials
- coffee filters
- watercolor paint
- (optional) markers
- wooden clothespin (or pipe cleaners)
Instructions
- Use watercolor paint to paint two coffee filters and create bright and colorful wings.
- Paint a wooden clothespin (or clothespin peg) to create the butterfly’s body.
- (optional) Use markers to add eyes and other details on the clothespin.
- Once the paint is dry, slide both coffee filters up the clothespin and scrunch them.
- Repeat the process to create more butterflies and try different designs.
(If you don’t have clothespins at hand, you can use pipe cleaners for the butterfly’s body.)
