Emotions: Make a face

Materials
- thick cardboard
- watercolor paint
- (watercolor) paper
- sharpie marker
- googly eyes
- mini counting sticks
- (optional) yarn
- scissors and glue

Instructions
- Invite the kids to draw a portrait on (watercolor) paper and paint it without adding any facial features.
- Cut out the portrait and glue it on a piece of thick cardboard. (optional) Add yarn for the hair.
- On a small tray, prepare some googly eyes, mini wooden sticks, and a set of mouth shapes that reflect different feelings.
- Invite the kids to create faces that show different emotions and encourage them to share situations when they felt that way.
