Play space idea
Setting up a pretend vet clinic for your kids is a simple way to encourage them to engage in pretend play and also give them plenty of opportunities to have fun and learn through play.

The pretend vet clinic is easy to prepare using toys and materials you already have at home, so you can quickly set it up for your kids.
How to set up a pretend vet clinic
To get started, prepare a small table or shelf for the kids to use for their vet clinic.
Use the colored paper to create a “Vet Clinic” sign and some “Patient Record” sheets. Add a few supplies like band-aids, pretend thermometers, bandages, or wipes. (If you have a pretend doctor kit, use the supplies inside it.)
Use trays and pillow cases to create beds for the animal patients. You can also create a few “pretend pills” using pom poms and small jars. Then, prepare a few stuffed animals in the clinic’s waiting room and invite the kids to treat them.
To make this activity more interesting, you can prepare a pretend animal shelter with a vet clinic, and invite the kids to create a nice space for the animals, treat them in the clinic, and come up with ways to help them get adopted.
