Rainbow windsock

Materials
- long paper tube
- paint
- crepe paper
- tape
- ribbon or string for the handle
Instructions
- Start by inviting the kids to decorate the paper tube using paint. If they find it hard to paint on the paper tube, they can create their design on a piece of paper and then glue it around the paper tube.
- Once the design is ready, cut out several strings of crepe paper in rainbow colors. Use tape to attach the crepe paper to the bottom of the paper tube, on the inside.
- Punch two small holes at the top of the paper tube and add a ribbon or string to create a windsock handle. Hang the rainbow windsock outside and enjoy watching it move in the wind.
