Story in a box

Materials
- small box
- colored paper
- (watercolor) paper
- paint
- markers
- scissors and glue
Instructions
- Invite the kids to decide if they want to create a story box inspired by a book or come up with their own characters for their story box.
- First, decorate the box. The kids can use markers and paint to decorate the inside of the box or use colored paper to create the decor elements.
- Then, invite the kids to draw their characters on paper. Cut out the characters and use a small piece of folded paper to attach them to the box. (Glue one end of the folded paper on the back of the character and the other on the box.)
- Encourage the kids to get creative and add more elements to their story box.
