- (watercolor) paper
- watercolor paint
- paper scraps
- yarn
- scissors and glue

Instructions
This activity is part of our book club, but you can try it with your kids even if you didn’t read the book.
- Prepare a few different kinds of paper scraps for the kids to use in this activity. (We used painted paper, colored paper, glitter paper, tissue paper.)
- Invite the kids to paint a unicorn inspired by the illustrations in the book. (For young kids, you can trace the unicorn and invite them to paint it.)
- Once the paint dries, help the kids cut out the unicorn and invite them to decorate the horn, mane, and tail by gluing pieces of paper and yarn.
