Worry box

Materials
- empty box
- craft sticks
- googly eyes
- colored tape (or colored paper)
- glue

Instructions
- (adults only) Cut out a small hole in the box for the mouth of the monster.
- Invite the kids to cover the box with colored tape or colored paper to create their worry monster.
- Add the eyes, teeth, ears, and any other details the kids what to add to their monster.
- Add a few small pieces the paper and a pencil next to the worry box. Invite the kids to write or draw their worries and “feed” them to the monster.
- The worry box is a wonderful tool to use with the kids on a regular basis to encourage them to share their worries and teach them easy ways to deal with them.
